I decided to attend UNT as a music major solely because I thought I was madly in love with a guy I went to high school with. Meanwhile, I also got accepted to TCU, UT, A&M, USC, and Cornell for other things, for example, aerospace engineering. After four years, one major switch, and the constant overwhelming feeling that my degree won't get me anywhere, I realize what a fucking retard I was/am. I never really wanted to be a goddamn band director. Who the hell was I kidding? This business degree isn't going to do me one bit of good either. Looks like I'll be going after that engineering degree I should have taken to begin with, at a school that actually feels legit when you walk the stage. Damn teenage hormones. What a joke. The friends I've made here are the only worthwhile things I've gained in four years. At least they're legit.

I went to UNT for a semester and then I realized college is a waste. Why major in art? All you're going to do is artistically make my cheeseburger, dance you will probably end up a stripper and theater... wtf you dont need a degree for that. Look at all those actors that dropped out and ended up getting famous. I guess the only reason people get those bullshit degrees is to hide the fact that they have no talent for 4 years and afterwards blame the economy for no major job offers like they thought would magically happen. Grow up and get a REAL degree or job. I work as a content manager for a website and make good money. And you know what? I didn't get there with a pointless degree. I got there with hard work and dedication not by wasting mommy and daddy's money to get high and drunk all the time.
