I'm a heavier set girl who has a digestive disorder. I don't eat very much, and therefore I never get the nutrition I need, and no matter what I try I can't seem to lose the weight I need to. I'm really self-conscious, and it's come to my attention lately that it's getting worse.Especially when I can no longer have a conversation with any family members without it ending up being about my weight and "what's wrong with me". It's gotten to the point that I feel like every person I talk to is silently judging me about my weight. I've been told by friends that I'm not even THAT big, and that I should be happy with who I am, and be thankful I'm not as big as some people. But in all honesty, I can't even bring myself to meet up with a guy I started to talk to on this page, because I feel like he will be disgusted with me upon seeing me in person. Which hurts because I REALLY like this guy.

Why is it that some guys pick women to date whom they are not fully invested in and everyone knows that the guy actually loves his best friend...in other words... My best friend and I have known each other for about 18 years ( I am 22 and he is almost 24). He and I have had our times and are closer to each other than anyone else. He says he could see us getting married and would love it but he would hate it if we dated and broke up because it would tear him apart. He is now dating, a girl and he said "if she and I broke up it wouldn't even phase me"...wtf...His parents adore me and tell us we will get married later and all his friends are confused...it just doesn't quite make sense.
