I was fired from my job because a gay coworker asked me out and I (respectfully) declined. He told the manger that I had been calling him slurs and singling him out for being gay. Since the manager and him are friends, she believed him over me and flat out refused to let me explain the situation saying "there's no excuse for intolerance". My other coworker tried to explain on my behalf and my manager threatened to write her up for siding with me and is supposedly having HR come in and discuss sensitivity in the workplace. Never had a issue with gays, even would go as far as to say I thought I was friends with the guy. I feel really fucked over and pissed no one will listen to me..

I can hear my neighbors in my apartments fighting every so often. I think they're married and in college, or at least in a long term thing since they're living together. I feel bad for him, he is constantly crying at some odd hour at night, not to mention that she is almost never there, but when he tries to talk about it, nothing happens. The walls are really thin, and every time he goes out and puts on a fake smile for the world, I just want to hug him because of how much he puts up with her crap. Stay strong, guy. You deserve better.

Since the bombing happened last week, I wonder what does UNT students now feel about the Harlem Shake video they made when in fact the lyrics say "con los terroristas."

I fucking hate it when people say they are going to "pray for me" or for victims of catastrophes. Your prayer doesn't do shit except make you feel better for not doing anything. Prayer doesn't fix shit. Get up and help people, don't use religion as a crutch to not give a shit.
