I've never had a boyfriend. I'm 20 years old and never been in a relationship ever. And you know what? I'm OK. I'm actually great. I'd rather spend the rest of my life single than rush into a relationship that's unhealthy and shitty. There's nothing wrong with being single, people! It's wonderful and I'm convinced that when I find the man for me, the one that will treat me right and love me and respect me, it will be worth the 20+ year wait.

Seeing all these desperate posts to be in a relationship makes me sad. Until this June, I was constantly swinging from relationship to relationship and it sucked. Finally, as a senior, I've decided to take a break from the swing and to just enjoy my last year at UNC. I can already tell you that the experiences I’ve had in the past 2ish months are 1000x better than the past 3 years here. I’ve made some terrific friends that I never realized were there for me and my self-confidence has grown. It has also given me time to think about what I want from my life without the interference of the significant other. So ladies, stop looking for love or the hook-up of the night and focus on this college experience that you only get once. Don’t become the senior wishing she had tried being single earlier.

I had the most amazing sex in my entire life last night with this guy I really like.
