I'm a girl and I really want to go to the ERC and start working out but I'm way too self-conscious. I've never intentionally tried to lose weight before, but after seeing 200 lbs on the scale the other day, I know there needs to be a change. I have no friends to go with and I'm worried that I'll get funny looks, not know how to use the equipment, or make a fool of myself. I am too intimidated by people to actually go, but I know I need to/want to.

My therapy is ending tomorrow and I'm really scared.
