Im fairly certain that the guy Im re-leasing my apartment for the summer from is stiffing me $100/m on rent. The agreement was that I would pay $400/m of a $790 bill while he would cover the other $390. Yet he only gave me checks for $290. I have email correspondence with the guy saying that I would be paying $400/m, but now Im not sure what to do.

Come on people. Legitimate reasons why NJ is bad. Don't give me that armpit of the US crap. Maryland and NJ are practically the same state but when NJ has miles and miles and miles of gorgeous beaches, maryland has a few miles of meh beaches and some backwoods redneck places. I have been reading about existentialism and more and more it seems like the only way to be happy in this world. The idealism with which we are indoctrinated with throughout our lives, in school, in religion, in college doesn't work in the real world. There is a real disconnect with what we believe should happen and what really needs to happen. Our mental state should be dictated by our existence, thus existence precedes essence. If we try to live a life which is not physically possible, we will be unhappy.
