As a single black woman I am appalled at the comments black men make about us being "nappy haired" "too dark" and "cute for a dark skin chick"- guess what, look in the mirror sometimes. You are hating your own ethnic features that make you who you are. To overwhelmingly prefer something that doesnt exist in your ethnic group is self hatred at its finest. Being in denial about it doesnt change the fact that over 70% of us are single and have a 72% out of wedlock birth rate.

I hate myself for never talking to the guy of my dreams before he graduated. I used to see him in van munching but now he's gone. He was the most beautiful man i've ever seen. Beautiful long blonde hair, perfectly symmetrical face, tall, reddish lips. He looked like the Prince of Monaco.

I used to believe in love and finding the right girl, but now I don't really care. People aren't all that different you know. I doubt other animals can tell the difference between two people of the same race. I don't know why we get worked up just because some girl has a face with a nose or eyes couple of inches smaller or larger than the norm is considered an angel. I'm surprised by how people have changed since high school (like opposite of their high school career) and how many people have screwed up their freshman year.
