I see a familiar pattern in these game shows that have been popping up. Most of them test extremely trivial skills, or if it's a quiz show, they ask fairly easy pop culture questions. People now a days must be really insecure about themselves if they can't stomach people who are smarter than them winning a lot of money. Makes me wonder how Jeopardy is still on the air, I mean the contestants on Jeopardy are pretty much the smartest people on TV nowadays. ABC must be subsidizing it big time.

I saw a really cute, tall, blonde guy with a blue tshirt on (the whole entire night, damnit) at the Crucible last night. He looked new to the scene and I wanted to introduce him to more of it by having him flog me. I even got the courage to walk around in just my underwear last night, but talking to a guy? To the person trashing on engineers... either you are a genius or you haven't actually started engineering yet... its not easy, its just easier to get a job afterwards. Also, once you get a job after school, its not like its a walk in the park.. you usually have to work your ass off for the first several years. However, I do agree that the other science majors have a tough time getting a job afterwards. The problem with other science majors is that they are super specialized whereas engineers pretty much have to know how to do a little bit of everything. All science majors are great, you just have to know what you're getting into

I recently got into the kink scene and am really liking it a lot so far. But I have a really hard time differentiating between sex and love. Any advice on (1) how to get over this, and (2) should I try to get over this?

Talking about engineering, I gotta say engineering is probably going the easy route as far as the sciences go. We have some decent job prospects after 4 years of schooling. But those in the hard sciences are pretty much forced into going to grad school even after subjecting themselves to an intense curriculum, or end their career then and there. Einstein spent years unemployed after studying physics all the while studying physics on his own. It takes a lot of grit and determination to make it in the creative fields, which the hard sciences are.
