#2906 It is actually impossible to meet anyone on campus. I've literally done all that I can do to "work on me" and here I am senior year and still haven't been in a serious relationship in college. I work, I serve the community, am involved in some groups on campus, and have focused on my major/future. I'm beginning to believe I went to the wrong university. All I really want is to get just one actual 'college relationship' and have someone to cuddle with or laugh with. But no one ever talks to me, as hard as I try. And I'm sick of it.

#2905 One of my biggest pet peeves is when I use intelligence as a defense mechanism and someone thinks condescension and being a dick is a reasonable way to give advice. Is it wrong for someone with potential to recognize that they haven't done enough to realize any of it? I already blame myself enough, but that doesn't mean it's solely my fault. If you knew me I'm one of the last people you'd think is a dick or thinks he's a genius. I know exactly what I am. You're not telling me anything I haven't realized myself. Maybe part of the problem is that the second I show my intelligence I immediately feel looked down on by my peers when really I just like knowing things. And then I internalize it and use it to vent my feelings. I clearly have a lot of shit that I'm working through so my reason for posting these thoughts is quite clear. But why do you feel so inclined to type a long response just to put me in my place, as if I hadn't already recognized my shortcomings. Are you that insecure of a loser who can't pass his classes?

#2903 In my opinion there is nothing wrong with a white student union, as long as it is open to all and is about culture and history, just like any other organization on campus. Some people say you can't lump all white people together, but other organizations lump their ethnicities or races together. For example, there is the Black Student Union or Latino Student Union: these clubs embrace all people who are black or Latino, whether you are African, Caribbean, Spanish, or South American, along with anyone who doesn't necessarily fall into those ethnicities. And I don't see anyone causing an uproar because these organizations exist.

Once you graduate and shit you aren't confined to some 9-5 desk job for the rest of your life. Go back to school, get a masters or w/e, go see the world. I guess what I am saying is don't get caught up in financial success, focus on the shit that really matters.
