Reading all these confessions abt girls breaking up with guys, and guys breaking up with girls, girls hooking up with multiple guys while they are in a relationship makes me really happy tht I'm single and that im not dealing with this shit stressful relationships. This has to be a troll post but I'll respond seriously, nonetheless. This post is so ignorant, it's hard to stomach. There is a class of people called the 'working poor,' in which they work long hours at boring, 'low-class' jobs (such as the lovely Wal-Mart, fast food chains, etc.) and are denied benefits and hours. Their pay is so low (minimum wage should be at least $9 with inflation) that they cannot keep up with the increased cost of living, and with the high amount of corporate greed, people are basically forced to depend on the state. If you don't want these "lazy, entitled" working poor to use your precious, hard-earned money, why don't you take action to stop supporting the CREATORS of this group of people?

It's just sad to me how people continually follow this easy cop-out (supported by and encouraged by corporations and greed) instead of ACTUALLY researching the ACTUAL problem. People on welfare are a SYMPTOM, not a CAUSE. You should try to do some research to back up your ignorant, silly claims and stop perpetuating false social stigmas about food-stamp users.

People are individuals within a system. Yes, people have individual choices. The number of working poor and the number of food-stamp users is much more significant than to just simply be caused by these peoples' individual choices. The majority of people on food stamps actually need them because THEY CANNOT AFFORD FOOD in conjunction with the higher cost of living. A good example of how pathetic minimum wage is is the McD's budget plan (link below) and that is some unrealistic shit. And yeah - you don't want to work at McD's the rest of your life. But when the job market is so low and people can't find a job in their field (or even outside their field), how are they supposed to feed their family?

As for "popping out babies" - well, why the fuck aren't we making birth control more accessible? People are going to have sex. Saying "they need to stop fucking having sex" isn't going to actually do anything (but make you feel better about complaining - oh boo hoo to you). You want a better situation? Why don't you stop sitting on your ass, making ignorant untrue claims that stigmatize an already stigmatized group that's down on the ground, and get up and do something about it? Talk about fucking lazy.

#3029 My boyfriend and I have been dating for two years, long distance. He lives in Europe and it's hard to see each other every so often but we made things work. This past summer my plans to visit fell through and he got fed up and dumped me. He considers us "together without the label" cuz we still talk and care for each other.

A couple months prior his cousin had reached out to me on Facebook to hear about the infamous girl who committed his cousin. We talked here and there, but it got more common as time went on. After I got dumped, our convos got more flirty and personal, even to the point that we sent pictures. It got to the point that even my friends thought he was secretly in love with me, as he would always say there was something he needed to tell me but wouldn't come out and say it. He would say "ily" and "in another life id be your man" but never came out and said anything explicitly.

He recently came to visit and one night when we went out we made out. The next day he asked me if I wanted more and I said I wasn't sure but id like to see where this takes us. We planned to sleep together the next time we saw each other.

Then he two days before we're supposed to meet, he tells me he's been talking to this other girl and she just told him she likes him and he likes her too. I was furious, but he said we could go through with what we planned because he committed to me first. We ended up sleeping together, and I thought emotions were out of it but I'm not sure anymore. He says he doesn't have feelings for me, but I don't believe that. I know he's scared to admit anything because of how his cousin would handle it, but I just want him to be honest with me.
