#3093 I think there is a greater acceptance in the Christian culture of Homosexuality, abortion, and the fact that unbaptized babies do not in fact go to hell than the fact that evolution happens and that the earth is roughly 4 billion years old. Isn't it more likely that God actually really wanted homosexuality and abortion to be a sin, And that God really sends unbaptized babies and all those who haven't been "saved" to hell, than the claim that god created humans in his image and that earth is 500 years old. I don't understand how people can selectively suspend their disbelief. Christianity and most of Abrahamic religions themselves are a leap of faith, after all you do believe that you have the words of God himself at your disposal, so why do you suspend your belief when it becomes too hard to hold onto such beliefs?
