#3296 Not really a confession, so I'll try to save myself by phrasing it as such. I really want to show this guy in a class that I'm interested in getting to know him better, but we've been sitting one seat apart for the duration of the class thus far, which makes conversation somewhat difficult. I feel like it'd be weird change up the seating at this point, and should scrap all hopes of getting closer to him (both literally and figuratively).

Because as far as I know, it's a huge taboo and no-no to do that stuff before marriage. But then again, maybe y'all aren't planning to go that route? As a confused brown dude, I don't know what to think- here I am, living in the library, eventually hoping to get an arranged marriage, following brown culture and tradition, but the prospect of getting married to a used up individual is just sickening. Maybe the solution is to avoid all brown girls born here? I see my relatives getting married to some of these girls, and they only give them time of day if they have loads of money and are professionals. But other guys, it's a free for all. That's messed up. I've made up my mind to avoid all of them entirely.
