#3380 I have decided to be in abstinence for next 6 months despite the fact that it's kinda hard. In the mean time, I will explore myself, play guitar, practice magic, and study astrology. I know I can do that.

#3378 After getting into serious shit with my academics, I got diagnosed with a depressive mental illness. I got medication for it. But I don't want to take it. I'm also being pushed to go see a therapist that I don't want to. So I've been pretending that things are getting better. I've been trying harder to pass my classes, even if just barely. It's been working.
But if I can do that. . .if I can do better in school anyway (just enough to get my grades out of probation,) then I do have the motivation to get stuff done. Maybe I wasn't depressed and I was/am just lazy.

#3377 3372 here. So I have an exam tomorrow that I have surprisingly been studying for a while in advance. Point being I've been taking studying breaks to go on the internet and well talk about this. A lot of you are comprehending "my confession" the wrong way. On a side note, funny that people's anonymous confessions are always judged so vehemently on this page because they are personal anecdotes that the Op wouldn't feel comfortable talking about without fear of being judged on it. Anyways in response to Winston, I doubt you're not a douche in real life and carry that "I just wanna be punched in the face" everywhere you go. In response to Leighann, I didn't say its weird, just that it makes me uncomfortable. I guess I'll just preface my feelings with my past experiences. I had a close friend in high school was gay, he came out to me and everyone else our junior year. I didn't mind till one day my senior year, I get a text saying he wants to suck my dick and blah blah blah. I stopped talking to him after that and he sent a text some time later " I was just joking. At the time I felt betrayed because I saw him as a genuine friend and he saw me as something much more than that, knowing full well I was straight and never considering changing my orientation. Also Leighann, I know its weird to say, but if they said something a that let you know they were gay initially when they come up to you then it would be easier to politely tell them off. Sometimes you have to decipher between spontaneous and friendly conversation with flirting or being hit on. That's happened twice and I never told them off because I would just try to nicely end the conversation and go about my business. Shabaab I never said their life isnt difficult, I figured that which is why I also tried to offer some type of advice. I also didn't say he shouldn't do it, if he wants to then go ahead. All I said was I personally would be uncomfortable. But from the comments, which is usually seen and interpreted as a representation of the general umd population /s, it seems most guys are ok and even happy to be hit on by gay guys. So go ahead, I was just saying how I feel about it. Kai, thats funny seeing how you go to another school and also I would just avoid you since I know what you like. Natali I didn't say I would be a dick, I was talking about being "too" friendly. In response to Jay I'm glad you made the similar comparison that because I'm straight I should go to a bar and try and get laid while the original guy was talking about trying to get a relationship with someone. Its cool since straight guys only want to get laid while gay people want relationships.

#3376 A guy in one of my classes today had some sort of religious awakening in the middle of class and had to yell out and run out of the room because he couldn't contain himself. It was entirely sincere. And it was awkward and people laughed, but all I could think was how much I *wish* I could feel something that powerful. Not necessarily in regard to God or religion, but just about something or someone in general.

#3372 in response to 3364. I understand its hard, but I honestly don't feel comfortable with a gay guy coming up to me since I'm straight. You could try one of the LGBT clubs and use their networks to seek out singles. In case you're wondering it has happened before and sometimes being too friendly can be misconstrued as being interested.

#3373 Today I accidentally wore a green shirt and brown pants and didn't realize I looked like a goddamn tree until the day was pretty much over. Welp.
