#3795 The reason I am crying is because I am very frustrated. I feel as though the nobility and kindness of man is being trampled upon. Those who show their strength lose their grace. Covered in dirt and lies, isn't it a vexing sight? Lets live more stronger, fiercely and tougher. Lets walk straight. The wind is against us. Move, those with a guilty conscience move aside.Light up the town of riffraff.Move, make way, truth is coming through. The era of justice will come. There are songs of hope too. I would happily sacrifice my life for this world.

#3794 It saddens me that I have not a single African American professor and/or TA at all in my major- engineering student. I have no problem with other races or anything, I'd just likt to see someone from same race as a professor or TA, it'd actually encourage me, and I'd think some other students also. Anyone feels the same way?

#3793 For the past year, I have been keeping a huge secret from my parents. I'm bisexual, and it's something I've told them 3 years ago (to which they don't agree with) and since then just kept my mouth shut. This past year, I've been involved with two girls. One was a really good friend of mine who've I practically had a relationship with but never committed because of several reasons. Through her, I met the current girl, my girlfriend. I live at home, so I would sneak out to see them both (first girl was several months ago, my girlfriend is now. so not at the same time). I have had sex with them both. I kept this all a secret. The first girl fell in love with me but I could never return it. Because we were really close, had an incredible connection, and she supported me through so much, we would exchange heartfelt letters. Hers were always filled with love, and mine were the same but not in-love. I really did care for her and she really was an amazing friend. Well, I held onto those letters. Two mornings ago, I was getting ready to leave for class and I decided to open my window. As strange as this sounds, I only did it cuz I felt my room smelled a bit strange. So, I wanted to air it out. As I got ready in my bathroom, my mom noticed my window was opened and asked me in an incredulous way. I answered her by saying that I opened it because my room smells strange. I guess, she took that as suspicious and later told my dad long after I left to investigate my room, perhaps for weed. Well, they did not found any weed, or any bongs because I don't have any of that in my room. Instead, they found every letter that was given to me in the past year. I did my best to hide it all only because I was afraid of their rejection of me and my sexuality. I was going to open up to them about it all but when I was ready, when I wasn't living in their home. Instead, this happened. They addressed me about it, and I couldn't lie to them because I really do care about them and the relationship I have with them. My relationship with them has been really hard and tense lately. Twice, I got into blow ups with them, one resulting in a full-out physical altercation, and the other with me getting physically hurt from being hit. I hate that our relationship has resulted to this (for many reasons) and so I had recently made the choice to change as much of me around to better my relationship with my parents. Because a lot has been on me. They want the best for me, and I realize that with ALL of my heart. And so when this came up, it was hard. It's still hard. They want me to break it off with my girlfriend because they say it's wrong -- me having sexual experiences with girls, being in a lesbian relationship. That God considers it a sin. And I am a Christian. I do believe in God. I do care about my relationship with Him. I just feel like I am not entirely wrong for embracing my sexuality. I don't lust after girls. Whoever I am with I care for from deep inside my heart with all the good intentions. And not once have I ever denied to God any of this. Even when I sneak out, even when I lie, I know I am always upfront with my faults with Him. I know some of you view this matter differently, but it's hitting me harder inside. Because there is the God aspect, and a part of me cannot say for sure he approves or disapproves. Ultimately, I want and need Him to know I mean no harm. I mean no wrong. I mean no bad intentions. And there's my parents. When they found out about all of this, it was hard for them. Knowing their daughter is having sex with girls. They don't agree with the lifestyle, and I respect that. Whats hard is that I want to make this relationship better with them, I really do. And I know this will hurt them and continue to hurt them if I let it go on. But, it's killing me because I don't want to stop seeing my girlfriend. She has been nothing but the best support for me in everything. She's amazing and I care for her soooooo much. I may not be in love, but I do love her. And I miss her. I feel conflicted because I want to leave and see her and be with her, and I mean LEAVE. But I know it would destroy my parents and destroy my relationship with them and I cannot do that because I LOVE them and NEED them in my life. I know I've fucked up so much. It's just hard. And I can't stop crying and I dont know what to do. Cause on one hand, I hear I need to do what makes me happy and be true to myself. But, on the other hand I hear it's wrong and a sin and it will destroy my family. It kills. And I haven't felt this much pain, and this much shame, since my ex-girlfriend. That's another story, but im done for now. Sorry if this is too long. I need this out.

#3790 I really don't have any friends. Even my roommate isn't my friend, as one time when he thought I was sleeping, he commented to his friend that was in the room that I was really "lame". I haven't had a true friend to hang out with since the end of middle school when I left my private school to go to a public school. I don't know how to make friends without being too clingy.
