First of all, I am a current UMD student, but I will be graduating in the spring. Sometimes I wonder what people would think if they knew who was sitting next to them in class. I have to admit living this double life is kind of exhilarating. In clarification I say double life because my parents don't know, and very few of my friends know. They all think I have been babysitting for the past year. When I go to class I don't wear makeup or anything, I usually look like I just woke up. I am not the type to turn heads. When I go out with a client I look completely different. I am their living fantasy for the evening, so it's important that I look impeccable. But I digress...
I was already almost done with college when I started escorting, and my parents are of course expecting me to finish my degree. In addition, escorting/sex work is dangerous so should something happen and I need to leave the industry I want to be able to land on my feet. As of now the only thing I am willing to say is that escorting in conjunction with my intended goals for higher education are leading to something specific. I wish that I could answer your question more precisely, but in doing so I put myself at risk for being identified.
I also like college, so there's that.
TER is heinously expensive so I am not joining until my website is done. I am kind of off the grid at the moment, trying to get reviews so I can join some of the more exclusive websites. It's difficult because they operate on a closed-loop system. You need reviews to become a member, but it's extremely tough to get reviews unless you already a member.
You mentioned salary. I make between $300-$600 per night in cash, not including what they have paid for dinner and hotel. But I only recently switched to escorting as a primary source of income. Contrary to popular belief, clients (who allow themselves to be screened-which involves giving me their legal names) are not that easy to find. Since I am relatively new to the industry I am particularly cautious. So right now I am only providing for a few long-term clients. So the money is not exactly rolling in. Yes, obviously I would love to make thousands of dollars per night, but it takes YEARS to reach that level. So we shall see... until then, I have two essays due next week, which is why I am at home on a Friday night. Maybe if I get a lot of work done, I'll grab a drink at Looneys...
