#4067 Is it too much to ask for a nice gay guy that wants to date and not just hook up? Where have all the chivalrous gentlemen disappeared to?

#4066 I ride my bike on the sidewalk because it's the only way I can get to class on time. Riding a bike is the fastest way to travel on this campus during class change... I don't really have a choice. If I were to ride in the road, it would take me 50 fucking minutes to go anywhere and would defeat the purpose of riding my bike.
So honestly, zero fucks given.

#4064 I think what
#4023 meant was that it is equally wrong for anyone to hate on a white blonde girl just because she is one. For the record I am white, and I fully admit that I was born into privilege and that my life is incredibly easy compared to those of most people. That does not mean I don't work my ass off. That does not mean I support racism or bigotry, or that I don't understand that I will never fully understand what it's like to be underprivileged because of my race or ethnicity. If someone assumes I have a certain attitude because of that, THEY ARE WRONG. That person becomes the one making baseless accusations. Yes, I am part of a group that oppresses. I did not choose that, just as no one chose to be in a group that is oppressed. Unless I have personally acted in a way that genuinely offends you, you have NO right to place blame for the actions and viewpoints of other people on ME.

#4063 So I know these race confessions have been beaten to death, but I just encountered a something I felt was racially motivated, and maybe other minorities can understand my frustration.
I was walking back to my dorm, and some old white man ahead of me hesitantly held the door opened for me as I was behind him, and asked me as soon as I got in "I assume you live here, correct?", I said, yes, and he said "Good. Because I don't just let anyone in here".
Now I understand it's the school's responsibility to maintain the safety of the students, but what could I have possibly done to make him believe I didn't live in this dorm? It's early in the day, I'm wearing a backpack (which implies I'm a student) and I'm cleanly dressed in a pair of jeans and a button up sweater.
But of course, as a Black male I must be too impoverished to afford on-campus housing, hence I must be a "thug" coming to disturb the peace. Somehow I can't help but think if I was a white male, my presence wouldn't need to be questioned.
This is only a small fraction of the type of bullshit we as minorities have to face on a daily basis, so it's annoying when White liberals want to tell us that we live in a "post-racial society". White people simply cannot understand racism, because you live in a society that was built for your success and not anyone else's.
Whatever, I'm done lol.
