#4609 fuck every professor who is stubborn enough not to round grades. i know this is not high school anymore, but you have to admit that it's absolutely ridiculous and downright ABSURD if you're .1 percent away from the next grade and the professor decides to give you the lower grade, despite the fact you truly do bust your ass to achieve that a that you aim for.

i feel that it'd be better if our transcripts showed our actual percentages rather than grade letters, if anything. an 89.9 has so much meaning than a "b+". an actual percentage not only shows how "advanced" you are in a course, but it will also suggest how hard you've worked. but on the other hand, a grade letter is ambiguous; a b+ could mean an 87%, or it could mean an 89.9%. it doesn't truly reflect your mastery of the course.

#4603 Okay, I'd like some opinions on something. I used to be best friends with this guy in Kindergarten, and then he moved to PA and we haven't seen each other since. About two or three years ago I randomly thought of him and friended him on fb. He sent me a message and tried to make conversation and seemed genuinely interested in how I was doing and stuff, but that was years ago and since then we haven't spoken either, even though we're still fb friends. I just thought of him again because it was his birthday and since PA isn't that far from MD, I kind of want to message him and ask if we can meet up sometime and catch up because he seems really fun and nice and that's how I remember him being. But I'm not sure if that would just come off as really creepy. Should I just leave it alone to save myself embarrassment or give it a shot?
