#4644 Words cannot describe how much I hate the plus/minus system. This semester was tough for me, I had the flu this past semester so I missed quite a bit of class. I ended up getting 2 B's and 2 B-'s so my GPA turned out to be a 2.85 which in my opinion is horrible. I got below a 3.0 even though technically I got all B's and my grades aren't that horrible, but from looking at my GPA I look like a failure...I'm disappointed in myself and upset with this stupid ass system.

#4643 Hello, I'm an assistant professor here, and I wanted to tell you the truth behind A- grades.
The A- grade was invented by the faculty to give to people we don't like and do not want to give an A.
We later implemented the change to the point values for + and - grades in order to further enforce this.
