It's gotten to the point where they will post "Visiting Grandma in the hospital one last time" on Facebook with a picture of them and their dying relative. Some things are meant to be private, and you shouldn't do things for likes, but you should do things for yourself. I wonder how many people would go help the homeless, do Terpthon, donate to a charity, etc. if they couldn't post about it five minutes later... "Just donated to charity! Looks like I'm good for the next few months! #Karma". Yeah, we get it. You're a great person.
