#5789 Hello lovies~ This is the girl who posted a…month? few weeks? ago about the older gentleman who was always resting in McKeldin. So I was in the library today with my friend studying for an exam and I noticed the gentleman was there again in the usual spot, though without the hat now perhaps because of the warmer weather. Same clothes, though, same greyness about him... I remembered everything each one of you wonderful examples of human beings said--like how he was probably a guy named Mike who took care of the gardens or how it might be misunderstood as offensive if I just approached him about a coffee or how one time someone said they saw someone else offer him a coffee and he refused—and then I remembered one person advising to just approach like “Hey, I’ve seen you around a lot and I wanted to say hi!”. I’m awfully shy, though, and I’m dreadful at approaching people, regardless of situation. So I thought I’d leave a little note...I have a terrible memory but this is basically what I said..
“Hello!
I always see you around here and I just wanted to say hi! :) You always seem a bit down and that makes me sad. You seem like a really considerate guy—you’re always so quiet and keep to yourself. If life is being a bit rough right now, I sincerely hope everything works out alright soon. Just know that one person is cheering you on!

Anyways, I just really quickly dropped it in front of him while he was sleeping and I didn’t see when/if he read it because my back was turned towards him, but when I think he took the note with him when he left…it was gone, anyways.
