I’m going to be blunt here.

Who the fuck CARES? Seriously, why does anybody give a shit why Asians seem to date only other Asians or if it’s an interracial relationship, it’s only Asian/White? Or for that matter, why does it matter if a man dates a man or a woman dates a woman? Why is it anybody’s business who dates who, and why do people feel like they need an explanation or need to offer an explanation as to why some things are?

Let me turn it around here. Why do white people only date white people?

Why should anybody have to justify or explain who they date? I’m Asian and I’m only attracted to Asians. Why should I have to offer reasons as to why? You could be white and only want to date white people and nobody would say shit. For fun, though, what would your response be if you ARE white and you do only date white people? “I care about their personality”? “We have similar backgrounds/families”? “We have similar values”?

Plot twist. The rest of us would say much of the same.

#6046 I have lost confidence in myself? Everything that I do goes terribly wrong. Grades are fucked up, I can’t get an internship even though I have applied to like 20 of them and I have made zero friends at umd. Like seriously zero fucking friends and I am a sophomore. There are so many events and things that I would like to do but I don’t wanna do them alone. I hate doing things alone. I mostly blame my parents, being an Asian I never got positive feedback and it lowered my self esteem and now every time I look at others I always assume that they are soo much better than me and they will never be my friends. So any suggestions would do?

#6045 I guess you can say I am extremely sheltered when I say I don't like the growth of this "gangster" attitude of using cuss words, listening to rap music and basically trying to emulate them. I don't understand how in our generation we stress that in order to be the most masculine, you have to throw cuss words out or have to be getting the most girls. Don't get me wrong, there are thousands of guys not like that around here, but it's getting really frustrating and I want to understand it rather than continue to hate it. anyone care to explain?
