#6314 I don't think that the people who regularly comment on this page are necessarily "self righteous liberals" and are unhealthy and rude etc. However I definitely agree that from looking at the profiles of people who regularly comment, "weird" is definitely the right word. Although it is not necessarily a "negative" thing, I think that most of the people who I've seen comment would be seen, to some degree, as social outcasts, at least in a judgemental, high school-type clique-centric setting.

And I do frequently question their comments because, although being somewhat of a social outcast is not necessarily "wrong", I think that such a position does tend to give certain tendencies in their advice that someone trying to fit in with societal norms may not want to follow.

(I also am 90% sure that some of these very people that I'm talking about will respond to this confession agreeing with it, not recognizing that this confession is pointed at them - although maybe not after reading this disclaimer...)

#6313 I need some relationship advice. Yeah, I know, some of you are tired of these, but for those that aren't, thanks for reading. I'm a guy and I've been with my GF for over two years now. It's a long distance relationship. We've had ups and downs like any other couple. But we've always had issues since the beginning. My parents are racist and don't like her because she's not the same ethnicity. She doesn't like most of my friends because they've hurt her. That's another story. So already, family and friends aren't so good, and I'm sure any girl wouldn't want that along with distance. Nothing wrong with her side though, I love her family and her friends and they all like me. Only issues I've had were with her specifically, such as her cheating and many issues with her ex. Another story. That was early on, and I just dealt with it. I figured, she is sacrificing a lot to be with me, so I have nothing to say. I let it go. And things did get better. But lately, it's been kinda rough. She says she feels distant and sad and alone all the time. It's not all me, but I feel like a big part is the things that are connected to me. I'm just an average guy with nothing really amazing to offer, which is another thing she has recently been criticizing me about. How I'm just "average". and she's an amazing beautiful girl that I still want to be with. She's also been suicidal and depressed lately. I want her to be happy, but I don't know what to do or say. Advice?
