#6397 @#6350 as a girl who is terrified of rape, I still have the fantasy of having a guy dominate me and take me like that. I don't fantasize about actually being raped, I just want a guy who is dominant and rough and knows what he wants in bed and isn't afraid to take charge and make it happen

#6396 I have no problem with homosexuals being together, but I do think that marriage is just for men and women. I'm not a homophobe, I just like the English language the way it is.

#6395 I'm a new transfer student at UMD. I came here with a 3.8 from my community college, and early this semester I though I would be able to keep that trend. I'm only taking 15 credits, with A's in all my classes but one. I'm really struggling in the exams in this class but aceing everything else (quizzes, home works, ect) so my grade is holding at about a 66%. I can't drop the class or I won't be full time so I feel trapped and miserable trying to figure out what in doing wrong.
I don't know what will happen if I drop to 11 credits, and if I did drop how would a "W" affect me? Since I changed my major I no longer need to course I'm taking if that makes any difference.
Since I am a transfer student, there hasn't much guidance on anything. We're just expected to figure things out on our own because we've "been to college before", so I'm looking to you all for help.

#6394 It is so fucking ridiculous that departments only assign one class/section every semester for the courses that are major requirements, which everybody within that major is required to take. Its not even like the class is in a lecture hall which can seat approximately 100 to 200 students. The damn class is in a classroom which seats no more than 40 students. Suck a dick, UMD!

#6392 @#6356 they want US citizenship because most of the time they're defense contractors but more importantly...it's a pain in the ass for a company to sponsor an international student. And I might get flak for this but quite honestly the whole international student thing right now is unsustainable. Pretty much everyone gets a student visa to come here, gambling on being able to find a job to sponsor them so they can stay indefinitely, and that's just not sustainable, our economic growth is much less than the influx of students on a student visa. It blew my mind the first time I saw how many indian ECE grad students were standing in front of the viacom table because they were like the only company that was sponsoring students... I didn't even know there were than many grad students in the entire department

#6390 Hey I'm OP from #6356 (Career Fairs with U.S. citizenship requirement). Yeah I'm an international student and yes, every single of my courses has around 80-90% international students. The thing is, when you go to the career fair you can see how companies with the citizenship requirement are empty and the other ones are packed with people, and you can see that they are international students. Someone said about being close to D.C., that makes sense. But I still find it really uncool.
