#6685 I have over 500 dining points left but I still steal cookies from the diner just to spite them.

#6684 So is it pointless to start something with a senior when I'm a freshman? He's graduating so soon..but literally we're meant to be.

#6683 I met this guy at a social and we bonded over a few things but he was really drunk and I didn't think he'd remember me. Turns out a few weeks later I passed him outside egr and thought he looked familiar- he smiled and said hi but I couldn't place him until after he passed. I saw him again the other night at an info session but I had to leave early so I just decided to friend him on fb. I kind of want to message him to start the conversation again but I don't know if that's even acceptable. Thoughts? I'd like to get to know him better.

#6682 Shout-out to JD, Harry, and Natali. I see you three posting responses on UMD confessions more than anyone and I think that it is amazing since you all seem to have different ideas and ways of expressing them. Thank you all!

#6681 So I'm a girl and I'm about to declare a computer science major. I'm not super concerned but I've heard it's sometimes weird for girls in cs just because there are sooooo many guys in the major. Any majors have any opinions about this? Is it sometimes an actual problem or is it more like "wow there are just so many guys here"? Again I'm not too concerned and nothing's gonna stop me from being a cs major, I'm just curious about the atmosphere. =)

#6680 I am scared. I was in love with a girl who is a few years yonger than me. Due to the age difference I was scared to tell her about my feelings, so we hang out just as regular friends. Thinking about her ruined me completely. I started to feel depressed. I begin to drink hard alcohol on daily baisis. At one point I was not able to go to sleep if I didn't take a shot or two of vodka. I decided to men up and fix this mess. So I picked up the phone and told her about my feelings, but it turned out she doesn't feel the same way and we agreed to just stay friends. This so far fixed the problem, even though I was rejected, I felt better because I wasn't holding it in me any more. I started to see the positive in life, I went back to just social drinking instead of drinking every night. The problem is that this summer me and this girl will both go to the same place, and she would live just a couple of blocks away. There is no doubt we will see each other around and this scares me a lot. What if I can't be just a friend with her? What if seeing her around makes me depressed again? What if I start drinking a lot again? Part of me feels that seeing her will take me back to the dark hole in which I was before talking with her, and I don't want this to happen and yet there is no way avoiding her because its 100% sure we will both go to that same place...

#6678 My boyfriend and I have very different political views and I'm not sure we have a future because of it.
