#6885 It frustrates me when someone denies the effects of privilege and/or oppression. Until you're a minority for a significant amount of time (be it a racial, sexual, gender, or any other type of minority), you won't understand what it's like. It's hard when the "default" has nothing to do with you. It's hard when you can't find people who relate to your experiences.

And yeah, I'm complaining about white, straight men. Not all of them, not even most, but that's where I see this problem most. #sorrynotsorry

#6884 Why are so many guys on this campus and guys on general so against dating? It is literally the least committed you can be while still being together. Honestly, I find the prospect of getting to know someone intimately, intellectually, emotionally awesome. Every relationship I've had, I've treasured, even though none have worked out. I've become best friends with these people and I will probably always live them a little even if Our breakups wee less than amicable. Do guys really find the idea of sleeping with as many people as possible fulfilling? Not to say all guys or like this or all girls share my POV.

#6881 Want to know the most difficult thing in the world? It's writing a solid finale for a successful TV show that millions of people carefully follow. Think about it. Dexter had a terrible finale that caused absolute outrage, HIMYM pissed tons of people off (for reasons I won't mention since some people seem to think the spoiler window lasts for months), Chuck had people watch as the main character finally got his girl, only to have her lose her memory and leave Chuck alone again. Nearly every show I have loved has had a disappointing finale. The only one the immediately comes to mind that kicked ass and blew everyone out of the water was the Breaking Bad finale. That was perfection.

I feel like it's so late in the semester that going "hey let's get married" is going to be awkward seeing that we sat next to each other for months and never said a word.

#6878 I need some help from the ladies right now... So whenever I wear workout shorts, at least one side always rides up. It's not even like I wear short shorts, it's just not having a thigh gap gives me problems like that. And no, this isn't a post complaining about thigh gaps (honestly not having one is really not that bad unless it's summertime and it's really hot out... Lol ouch). But anyway, I wear spandex too, mainly just from being used to wearing them when I played soccer. Does anyone know how to stop shorts from freaking riding up? Is it the spandex that's actually the problem? Ugh
