Anyways, to OP: I don’t really know enough to give much concrete advice, but… I don’t see how it’s going to be possible to provide a tax return from your mum, so you might want to forget that idea. There are other options for financing university, though. You can attempt to legally declare financial independence and thereby qualify for aid. If you have a job, you’d have tax returns in your name from that. There are also Stafford loans, which are unsubsidised. Independent scholarships that you can Google and apply to. There’s a lot out there, just do a bit of research and see what comes up. Congratulations on making it up till here!
