#7191 I'm a double STEM major (engineering and computer science, high GPA too), I work 20 hours a week, and in my spare time I'm a bit of a fitness fanatic. I've got a couple FWB I see every other week or so when it's convenient, but I'm not that into them and they know it. They just put up with me because I'm attractive, and I don't cut them off because I haven't met anyone else yet because I don't go out on weekends. I'm trying to go to grad school and do PHD research, and I'm also trying to train hard enough to be competitive in my hobby. At this point in my life my personal goals are way more important than a relationship, but it'd be nice to have someone to come home too. I'm probably gonna have to be on this crazy work grind for like 8 more years now if I do PHD, and I'm starting to get disheartened seeing my friends who aren't nearly as motivated as me in all the other aspects of their lives going out and having fun and dating girls and being normal 20-somethings while I'm cooped up in my room being the king of the nerds or getting up at 730 to train.

Is being that driven a turn off for girls because they think it's due to insecurity or that I'm not normal, or do they just find it inconvenient that I have such a busy schedule?

#7190 I've been trying to loose weight for a long time by playing sports, running and working out but the most difficult thing to do is "eat clean". Its even harder to do when I don't have much money to go out and buy the foods you should eat and not enough time to actually prepare it. I guess I'll remain fat and big.
