Please know someone somewhere is thinking of you. I might be the person you pass in the grocery store, I might be the person at your job interview, I might be the person who catches your eye at the concert. I might be all of those people. I might be none of those people.

Just know that I think you are amazing. I admire your strength even when you feel weak. I admire your body even when you wish you could afford to nip this or tuck that. I admire your ability to find humor in the stress. I admire who you are and I admire who you have become from who you once were.

Sometimes people are self-involved; their ears are full of their own thoughts, they eyes too full of their own experiences, and sometimes that means you don't get heard or seen. I'm sorry. I'm sorry for them because they are missing out on your awesomeness.

Thank you for continuing to be incredible, thus giving the self-involved and the people you haven't yet crossed paths with the opportunity to get to see the epicness that you are.

#7988 If anyone looked at my life and accomplishments they would say that I am very successful, good grades, marketable major, leadership positions, consistently held a job in my field through school, worked in management every summer in previous years, obtained an outstanding paied internship this summer and next semester in a field that I am passionate about. But the thing is I have a brother that still manages to make my accomplishments look like chicken shit, he played 3 sports, was an eagle scout, got in to the naval academy, is a leader and all around good hearted guy, I love him and could not be more proud of him. I just wish my actions and choices didn't have to be constantly measured against his in our parents eyes.

#7984 So I am a brown guy not the best looking one out there. I've been in the states for just about 3yrs now and I am 21 but don't take me wrong I clearly don't have any strong Indian accent. Coming to my point. When I was back home I got a good amount of attention from the girls around there. But here lol no one. Even all the Indian brown chicks dig the whites. I sat down and thought about it myself was it just me or has it really turned into the fate of most brown guys. It clearly wasn't just where are we brown dudes doing wrong. It goes back to family. Most brown families are really successful in the US not mainly by business but by there educational background mainly all science's (doctor, engineer, pfogrammer, Dentist, ect). The parents know how hard they had to struggle to be where they are now. So what do they do push there kids to be educationally successful. It's not wrong at all but just to be on the safe side they push there kids to the limit. This really does not affect most brown girls but it does for guys. Pushing there kids to study they forget how important going to the gym and having social life is. This turns them socially awkward. For girls it doesn't really matter because guys would come to them no matter what. In India this is not the case because the spectrum of people are different but the Indians in the US are mostly only the educationally successful ones. (And they push there kids too hard). So why don't the Indians who come directly from India do well with girls that's because the culture is completely different. I am definitely not happy of the fact that the people I find attractive here don't return the favor. But I do know when I have kids I'll make sure they don't go through the same fate. (Well side note I am a Computer Engineering major. Typical Stereotype lol)
