#8146 As a whole I am not very trusting of men. As a victim of sexual assault, and someone who does not have a single close friend who has not confided in me about being sexually assaulted at some point in their lives, it is hard to feel comfortable around men/place trust in men them when I first meet them. It really changes a lot about who you are and how you perceive the world. You don't think it will happen to you until it does. It is a scary reality that it happens so often and is not really something openly discussed in the public sphere. I am sorry to any man that I might generalize, but predators very often seem very normal, and you don't know what they're capable of. It became instinct for me to be fearful until I really know someone and they have gained my trust. I am sorry, but please do not blame me for my distrust. Blame all the people who do these things to women/men/children.

Hey, I'm a dude. That's a very broad generalization to make. As someone who's been sexually molested and violated twice since I was 6 by my own cousin and my parent's family friend, shit like this enrages me. Were you raped? Do you own the term "rape" because five of your friends were? I bet you say the n-word cause you know black people. Your gender nor your relationship to a rape victim entitles you to put down men as a whole. If you're genuinely scared of every single one of us, good, I wouldn't really want to associate with you.

#8144 I'm tired of everyone criticizing women for not giving nice guys a chance. When I reject guys, it's nothing personal. I'm a 19 year old virgin who does not feel like giving up her virginity the same night I meet a guy. I love talking to guys, and in fact, most of my friends are guys, but I am not about hooking up with them. Call me a prude, but my point is that it is usually nothing personal when I reject a any guy.

#8143 Seeing all the pictures of everyone graduating makes me sad cause I know I won't be graduating on time and I'm supposed to be a senior next year. I fucked up my freshmen year and got all F's and am still recovering but I'm trying to apply to the engineering school. I'm technically taking all the intro classes like calc 2 and physics but does anyone know If i'll have a shot of getting in if I meet the requirements? Even though I'm like 3 year behind.

#8142 I graduated last week with a GPA of 3.1 in Engineering. I have been looking for jobs but no luck so far. I'm happy with the GPA but I'm not as happy for the fact that I did not do any internships while in school. I am a person that requires a lot of time to study so I never had time for an internship. I just hope that I am able to find a job soon.
