#8331 I realize more and more everyday how bland and boring my roommate/best friend is. All she does is smile and agree with the things another person says. That wouldn't annoy me as much if she wasn't also so phony. My other friends seem to think that she is the nicest person (she is nice, and I do still like her), but she leads our guy friends on all the time, and when they confess their love to her, she plays the victim as though she was just being nice to them all along and it's hard for her to do that without them misunderstanding her intentions. NO! You don't cuddle in bed with guys that you have no feelings for because you're trying to be "nice"!! And you definitely don't kiss them "because you were drunk" and then say that they make you feel uncomfortable for liking you. I just find it so hard to respect her AND my guy friends when I know what is going to happen every time that I bring a new friend around. So I don't anymore.

#8330 It sucks having a summer job sometimes. I hate not being able to sleep in whenever I want, and being busy all day long and too tired to do anything fun during the week. However, I can't imagine doing nothing all summer long. Yes, you can make plans with friends, go to the beach, travel, etc, but if you don't have structure and basically do nothing all day long, doesn't that get boring? I genuinely want to know why some parents don't push their kids to get summer jobs. I'm not saying my life is hard bc it isn't. I don't work during the year and I love my job I have during the summer. I have amazing parents who are so so good to me. But, I sometimes think it would be nice to not have a job and be able to sleep late and do nothing all day but that it would get old really fast. I'm also relatively introverted so I would probably literally do nothing with my life if I didn't work haha. I guess I am jealous/resentful of people who don't work and seem to have all this free time, but then I think, maybe I seem that way to people during the school year. I guess the moral of the story is, you never know what is going on in someone's life that leads them to certain circumstances, so try not to judge or at least try to be tolerant.
