#5026 I honestly just want some unbiased opinions here because I'm literally stressed to the point of explosion. I couldn't even finish my shake from steak and shake today because I'm so stressed, and for real, that takes a lot of stress. Alright, here goes: so my boyfriend and I broke up like a few months ago and I never knew why. Well he recently told me it was because I was being inconsiderate, selfish and disrespectful to him and I had turned into someone he didn't want to be with. This has taken him months to tell me because he's got issues with sharing his feelings. Now we both did our part to cause this break up, we pretty much just stopped communicating and let the other one constantly make us feel bad. Now that he's finally told me his reason and I know him to be the kind of guy that would rather push someone he cares about away instead of fixing things because he freaks out gets scared and over thinks I know how to repair our relationship. Oh and this entire break up has been over the phone given he lives 5 hours away due to a recent work move. He's coming in the weekend spring break starts and I want to talk to him and see if we can't mend things but everyone is hounding me to either dump his stuff on the curb, lie and say I'm never home to keep it or just ignore him because he's said some mean things to me, but I've been mean right back. To me that's just not right, he's already hurt. I mean, am I wrong for wanting to talk to him and be nice about this?

That being said, I'd advise you leave your plans at simply returning his stuff. He doesn't sound like good boyfriend material at all, and if you disagree then take a look at what you typed as well as y'alls history.
