#5730 Ok Inneed some opinions. I sometimes feel underappreciated by my so called bf. I always give him my all and spoil him with anything and everything especially love. I honestly try to be understanding of his situation but he is 21 with no job and he claims BC of school he can't have one. I've been working since I was 16 and go to school full time but I make it work. I think I am just tired of settling. I always get my hopes up and then they get shot down. I moisturize, wax, bronze, contour, and make my makeup look natural like I barely did anything besides Chapstick and mascara. But I feel like men need to know the pain and work women go through. For instance, eyebrow waxing and threading, lip waxing and threading, and occasionally lady side burn threading and waxing. I'm not talking coarse man hairs. But lady soft peach fuzz but some lady's are Indian and Italian and we get the pleasure of having darker hair that requires removal and bleaching more frequently! Let's take it further. Bikini line waxing. Having hot wax put on your vaginal area. It hurts. Men for goodness sake appreciate what women do so you don't have a second floss of the day when going down town. Let's not even talk about what we do to keep our hair gorgeous! Blowouts, highlights for some (not me I like healthy hair), hot oil treatments, hair masks, etcs. For the face... So many damn exfoliating scrubs and acne treatments to hide a pimple. Diet and exercise? We who care do it all. Appreciate the lengths we go to for beauty to impress you and make you proud. #5731 It hit me today that all of my friends get their parents to pay for everything for them and we're all 3+ years into college. Gotta admit, it would be nice to have parents who have the financial flexibility to toss some bucks my way when things get tight. But since it's just me and mom, it's usually the other way around.
