Okay guys, this is not a confession. But I was told this is one page every southeastern student goes through the most and we really needed views on this. I and some of my friends are planning on starting a debate club at Southeastern, one that would offer topics to discuss on, train the students and hold a debate every month or bi-monthly or so with the help of associated faculty. Yet, we were wondering how the students would like the idea and if it was worth their time during the weekends. We have not gone into details yet for the idea is just an improvisation. Responses will be greatly appreciated.
P.S. I saw people debating outside the Fayard Hall today on some topic of God. The speaker seemed quite loud and intimidating and was not really letting the other's idea go through. Format based debating could have satisfied the audience and the debaters both, I think.

#6149 I Have social skill issues from a variety of thugs early in life, but I refuse to become some laconic recluse to the world. I will force my awkward self to try and socialize and figure out the do and do nots of different personalities and opinions. Those who gave up or simply turned into angry little monsters are saddening, but I find not being able to tell whatever kids I might have that I didn't have friends in life because I was shy is sad enough. I want them to know that you gotta go out and just do. Introverted as I semi-happily am, too much of anything is a bad thing. Now, to try to learn limits on extroverted....

#6122 I confess that I just watched one of the Chik-fil-A workers throw a chicken sandwich in the garbage because of a wrong order someone brought back, and then dig it out of the garbage and put it in a bag to make another order a couple customers later. She thought nobody was watching but I saw her clear as day.

Whether it be when someone brings up race, their religion, someone else's religion, or sexual orientation. I honestly don't care what color, creed, gender or sexual orientation you are. My life's virtue is just to love you all no matter who you are, what you have done, or have done to me. I just wish people would remember that and we would have so much more peace and overall happiness!
