#7151 I confess that even though I do have big plans for my future and I want them to happen, I secretly really want to be a housewife/soccer mom too. I want to have a successful husband and two children (maybe three) and to live in a 4-bedroom 2-story house. I want my husband and I to treat each other like king and queen and raise our children to be strong, independent, intellectual people. I don't think that's such a bad thing, but I always feel guilty when I think about how much I want that because I feel like society puts so much pressure on being an independent woman now that even expressing this anonymously makes me feel like I'll be attacked for wanting a stereotypical female role. I don't think that will necessarily happen on LC because there's always support in doing what we want, just in general if I tell certain people in my life about this.

I'm just scared because I know my life won't ever be the same anymore, but at the same time I understand that having your own child is such a blessing. #7144 I confess that I saw this on my newsfeed the other day and I don't even know what to think. You went to college but are saying that you love being unemployed because you know God will provide for you? God isn't supplying your welfare check, my taxes are. Maybe I'm misunderstanding this. If so, someone please elaborate.

#7156 I really wish I had a gay&lesbian group of friends--y'know, a community. Ones I can be a loving bitch to, have long talks with, go out with, and all the other fabulous things too. My straight friends don't fully get me, even though we're all open with each other and are close. It'd just be nice to fit in more... My interests are many, but I can't seem to find myself interesting lol. And I don't party much. Clubs aren't exactly my scene, but I'm sure with the right peeps that could change.
I don't mean to put down my straight friends. We all love each other to pieces, but none of them understand how tough it is being different (and the only perpetually single one..)
I do know about the club at school, but eh.. It'd just be nice to chat instead of planning events and standing out so much.
