1. I know how basic science works and I realize there are population problems with deer and boar. And, quite frankly, I don't see a problem with hunting them for several reasons, mainly because boars are the wasps and/or mosquitos of the mammal evolutionary tree - they serve almost no purpose whatsoever other than being destructive. And deer can show up everywhere and cause car wrecks and attack dogs and stuff. So to be hunted responsibly (being killed quickly by a skilled hunter) is FAR more humane and positive than the origins of a burger, for example. But I'd be lying if I said I didn't find fawns and piglets fucking adorable. I'd cry to see anything terrible happen to them. It's a shame that wolves and bears are so relentlessly hunted because a more balanced ecosystem is the way to go. And wolves are as magestic as any animal. Then again, I'm an introvert so it's probably easier for me to feel this way than someone who goes on hikes regularly or something.

2. Cows being domesticated doesn't change how I feel about them. Cows are harmless, that's where I'm coming from. And depending on your culture, and/or religion, they can be very highly regarded. Yeah, the days of the aurochs and wild bulls are over. But, just as wolves have been tamed into dogs, so have those lumbering beasts been tamed into cows. Like the mighty dinosaur after eating a platter of Walter Cronkite's hotdogs, cows have become fairly adorable, calm and nice. You can pet a cow. You can feed them. They smell awful, but are cute enough, especially calves. And the way they are processed via the meat industry is disturbing.

3. What is a domesticated chicken, exactly, and what purpose does it serve? What do you do with a pet chicken? I look into the soulless, prehistoric gaze of a chicken's eyes and expression and see the infinity of its own stupidity. Kill it swiftly and fry it up, I say (but first geese, because geese are the radical terrorists among water fowl). But ducks can make great pets. You can put them on a leash, name them donald and teach them some tricks. They have a cute waddle and make that charming quack sound. Matter of fact, that's a good description for the duck - charming. I can't eat that.

4. Yes, dinosaurs evolved into birds. I know all about the microraptor, archaeopteryx, dromaeosaurs, Yutyrannus, Ornithomimids, and such. You are not educating me on this subject.

5. Regarding eating horses, that was my point (that eating horses in some places in the world is considered evil, and that this seems to be the case in general more than with cows). I am not sure I care much either way. Baby horses and ponies are cute enough, and Mr. Ed is somewhat amusing after inhaling or ingesting some particular controlled substances, but aside from that, I see hunting them as a non-issue. They are basically just majestic, like a deer. I can't recall seeing a horse that was emotionally attached to a human, however I'd probably have a change of heart if I met one. That horse in Shadow of the Colossus *sniff* for example. Maybe horses like that exist IRL.

In the end, I know how nature works and I know there are ecological issues and things like high demand for meat that prevent the animals you can feel emotional attachment to from being eaten, but it sucks that it happens, that's all I'm saying. Now back to youtube to look at cute videos of rabbits, owls, ducklings, fawns, piglets, etc.

(How did he even get one on bail) He fucking called those lazy ass cops, and they said they couldn't do anything because they didn't have a warrant. #24245 I wish meat wasn't so delicious because when you think about it it's kiiiinda weird that we eat some animals. Maybe not seafood, especially mollusks and clams and stuff like that (which might as well be plants).

But Rabbits....a lot of hunters eat rabbits. How many animals are as cute as a bunny or most adult rabbits? I can't think of many at all. Also pigs. Have you seen Babe, motherfucker? Pork doesn't even taste that good and piglets are adorable. Also deer are probably the most hunted animal in north america...but they are adorable when young and so majestic when older. Seems wrong.

Cows are no more or less likeable than horses, but cows are delicious and you will straight-up go to hell for eating a horse. And fowl...Ducks will be your best friend in the whole world if you nurture them starting when they are ducklings. Chickens...are less likeable somehow. Chickens don't really give many fucks. They just cluck around and would probably peck you. They are living dinosaurs. I would eat a chicken with no remorse at all. Only an adult chicken though. Turkeys are the dumbest motherfuckers on the planet. Ugly, very stupid and often aggressive. And if geese tasted as good as turkey I would eat geese mcnuggets all day. Fuck geese. Assholes.

But we also eat ducks, quail and maybe a few other cute, nice and intelligent (for a bird) birds, which makes me feel kinda bad. I say we focus more on making geese tasty and eat them in their stead.

So, to recap, most seafood (but no whale or dolphin), and birds like chicken, turkey and geese should be eaten because of how impossible to feel emotional attachment to them. But I feel weird and sad that eating rabbits, cows, pigs, deer and ducks are things that happen regularly.
