I said that I'd write it down on a notecard and put it in my desk and I'd think of them from time to time, so that it wouldn't be true that absolutely no one cared. I'm posting to let you know that the card is still there in my desk, you're still in my thoughts every now and then, and I hope you're still here with us to enjoy/struggle/eat/poop through life, as the case may be.

I confess that I always wanted to have a huge ass snowball fight on campus, if only I could get some people together to participate. A couple of winters ago I considered making a bunker out there by the plowed snow by the Union and pre-making a bunch of snowballs and then declare war on the entire population of State Street, but I was pretty sure that that would end up with me going to jail or something. #26031 As a counselor, it sounds controversial to my patients, but so much of moving past mental illness involves improving your attitude, staying positive, taking your medicine, doing charitable things, going to church, etc. Belief in a higher power and going to church is often all you end up needing in life to fix the depression and improve your attitude.

#26029 Every fucking day I keep waking up to more news that makes me more and more suicidal and it's really draining on me and CAPS refuses to help me any more and all my hospitalizations were too traumatic. This week I finally self-harmed bad enough that I could've gotten stitches if I gave a fuck. My cat has been my reason for living but I don't think I care anymore
