#26091 To the girl with the corgi on Northwestern this Saturday, I yelled out the window of my car about how cute your dog was. I would have talked to you but that would be irresponsible to leave my car in the road. Thought you were cute though.

#26088 My boyfriend of a year and a half broke up with me on new years eve simply because he didn't love me anymore. Now I can't help feeling unwanted and unloved. It was a year and a half and he seems like he is completely over it already while I am constantly in pain about it. I don't know what to do

#26085 Life is inherently tragic. The Nietzschean answer to this fact is enjoy the fleeting. I find this entirely unsatisfactory because the net experience of all humans is merely a sum of all past experiences. So when you say you should be happy about current happiness and merely acknowledge past tragedies you forget that both of those experiences exist in the same brain. In that manner of speaking, the net sum from 0 to now will always be sorrow. There is no way of forgetting tragedy, only a way for it to hurt you.
If we acknowledge that as a fact and assume there is no higher purpose to our being, then suicide seems like the most real solution to the problem; the problem of an inherently tragic, cosmically accidental life.
