#31414 I started hurting myself again today, because my depression got bad again. I can't ask my friends for help since they aren't dependable, I feel more alone than ever.

#31412 From the moment you smiled while handing me my drink and asking how I pronounced my name at Starbucks, to all those moments you’d smile at me whenever I came across you in the library in Stewart, I don’t know when I begun to like you. Frequenting the Starbucks at PMU just to catch a glimpse of you has become a daily thing for me (in a non-stalkerish way). Every moment from the time I see you until the time I hope to see you again seems like yelda (reference to Khaled Hosseini’s “The Kite Runner”).

I don't know if you'll ever read this. I don’t know how to muster up the courage to go up to and ask you if you’d be interested in grabbing lunch sometime together. But I think I should, because I don’t think I will meet someone as wonderful and amazing, ever again.

P. S. You really threw me off my guard the other day when you were on your bike outside Windsor and smiled at me. ??

#31407 I'm ashamed to admit this, but I honked my horn twice in the McDonald's drive thru at 1 AM. I am not proud of my behavior, and I need to apologize to everyone other than that d*****bag in the red SUV.

Can we all agree that if you go in the drive thru, you automatically agree to certain conditions?
1. You should never leave more than 12 inches between your car and the car in front of you.
2. You shouldn't be in the drive thru if you have a complicated order.
3. If you are ordering for more than 3 people, you need to get out of the drive thru.
4. You need to pay attention and move when the car in front of you moves.
5. If you don't know what you want, go walk your indecisive a** into the restaurant.

Mr. Red SUV did not follow a single one of these rules. He left an absurd amount of space between him and the car in front of him, so I had to wait 5+ min to reach the microphone to place my order. He took too long looking at the menu and didn't know what he wanted. He spent over 5 min at the order window picking up the food for a lot of people. He'd wait a while before moving his car after the car in front of him moved.

I am aware some of McDonald's employees aren't the best and are partially to blame for this. Since we can't change this, why don't we just try to be good neighbors and make the drive thru more efficient? I'm an extremely lazy person, and someone already called me out for using the elevator to go up 2 floors this week. I can't even use the elevator in peace, and I need the drive thru to survive this terrible week. I was getting a salad which is already terrible enough. Since I made one healthy choice, can I just have this one luxury of not getting out of my car? Is this too much to ask?

#31418 Who tf wants to be gay. There are so many beautiful women out there! I seriously believe that being trans is a mental illness of our generation. I mean come on, Have you ever seen a 40, 50 year old gay or lesbian? It's just a trend that's going on and the democrats fueled this stupid idea by celebrating pride. BS. I know there might be exceptions and some people might be real trans but I strongly believe a lot of young kids are being attracted to this idea and naming it as a f'ing "choice". Good luck for finals.

#31415 I’ve always dated guys that fit the mold I think everyone wants me to fill. Funny guy, likes to party, doesn’t take life too seriously, always seem to be in a fraternity. There’s nothing wrong with that. I’ve found love. But I find myself wishing I had a guy to sit quietly and read with, watch Sci-fi movies with, and play video games. I’m tired of pushing true happiness aside to satisfy everyone else. I guess in a cliche way I’ve dated the jock and now I want to date a more nerdy type. I just don’t know where to start. So nerds if you’re out there, advice please?

#31408 Some people need to be responsible for their mistake. Instead of hit someone's car in parking lot and run away, at least leave a note and admit your mistake like an adult, how hard could that be?

#31417 I think I’m getting a 2.9-3.0 gpa, but I’m told I got much above average research experience and I want to enter grad school. Hopefully my chances are good enough....
In undergrad, I didn’t go out that much or socialize - pretty much a loner. I was stressed out and depressed most of the time as I really struggled through class work. I was extraordinary at performing in research though.
All I can say is, even though I might fail a course I’m glad I’m still going to graduate CS in a week. I’m so glad and relieved that I managed to avoid suicide.
Just... a big... thank you to life for getting me through. Yes, I don’t have a job yet. However, I don’t think I can express how relieved I am in getting myself through this stage - alive.
If the “alive” part seems insignificant to you, consider putting yourself in my shoes where you don’t attend recreational events since you’re too busy, don’t have friends to regularly hang out with especially when you feel really alone, go through most classes by yourself, and see bad results regularly.
So thank life I’m alive.

#31411 To the cute girl wearing cap, sitting in PMU lounge today evening. Our eyes met, it was difficult to take my eyes off you. You had some friends around so couldn't approach you. Like this post and I will ping you!

I am the guy in red sweater!
