Hungry Howies > Lotsa > Hot box > Mad Mushrooms (only for cheesticks) > Dominoes
I wish Hungry Howies had a better location on campus.

#27590 Why do Purdue Professors ignore their emails? Isn't it part of their job to communicate with students?

#27584 Hey some good advice would be appreciated... I sold a car in late march 2016 to someone right after I got my car out of an impound. Turned out this person never got the title registered under her name (she didn't take the title from me, but I gave her a bill of sale and I had one too) and got the car impounded for abandoning it. The big devil Jim's Garage, who impounded my car in the first place, got the car and sent me a "certified mail" saying that they have had the car since May 2017 and that I am responsible for all the charges. I called BMV to check the status of the car, they said it's not under my name anymore since March 2016 and I can disregard the letter. I called Jim's Garage to settle this issue and they said I am still the owner of the car and that they have the police record as well as the record from when they had the car impounded under my name (I got my car taken by the police for not having an insurance). They mentioned that they checked the status of the car from BMV and that's how they got my address. I have been staying in the same apartment for 2 years and I didn't give them the license plate I had on the car. I called BMV again as Jim's Garage threatened to file this case to an attorney and settle this in the court. BMV said if I don't own the car I can only say I sold the car and I don't own it, and that BMV never gives out any information on a car's ownership to anyone. My problem is that I don't want to pay for anything and I don't want to go to the court. I got this feeling that Jim's Garage is trying to scam me, but they seem to be not in the business to scam people - not entirely. It also mentioned on the letter that the car will be disposed of if it is not claimed within 30 days. If it did get disposed, will there still be a charge incurred?
