Classes are so tough and competitive. I always feel like I am behind. I don't like having this mentality, but I don't know how to change. I want so badly to change, to be happy.

She said 'there are better guys around.' I was hurt not because she said no to me. But the way she mentioned 'better guys'. I would be extremely polite even in saying no to someone.
2 years later.
I am graduated and conducting interviews and this girl appears as a candidate. I did consider her abilities and performance. But I laughed while sending this email to her 'thanks for your interest but There are candidates which are better fit for this position.'

#28247 You know i've been thinking about the whole gun control thing, and what's sad is that as much as we try to get stuff done, it never works. A long time ago, California purchased Barrett M82 .50 caliber rifles for their SWAT operations team. California eventually had a weapons ban (forget what kind or the scope of it) and Barrett said fine, repeal the law, or we won't fix your rifles! Sure enough, 2 of their rifles broke, and CA sent them to Barrett, and they sent them back to CA with a note saying something of the like, "here are your broke rifles!" and never fixed them until CA repealed or amended the ban. Really when I think about it, the gun lobby controls Washington. I've heard people talk about potentially banning or restricting ammo for high powered rifles, AR's etc. I've heard a lot of discussion, and a lot of it is good. But what I really think would happen is that the ammo companies would be like, "Fine, we won't sell ammo to your military or police forces." Weapons could even be more different. I'm sure the government has methods to prevent against it (not sure what they are, if any at all) but I have no idea. Ultimately, in my opinion, the ball is in the court of the gun lobby and the industry, and I've talked with others and I think it's all about $$$$. I absolutely HATE to write that, but I really think it's true. I hate that mourning won't fix shit, but at the same time, I feel like the lobbies are so strong, it's hard to get anything done in DC.
