#6351 Not sure if they read the confessions page, but this post goes out to one of my friends, BW. I know things have been tough for you lately and our friendship didn't necessarily start in the most orthodox of ways and because you were really bummed out about your ex, but let me drag you back down to earth before you let everything that's going on in your life take your thoughts away.

In regards to last semester, yes, your ex was a jerk, but you shouldn't have let that impact you as much as it did. You're an amazing person, and you keep looking for people to date again but what I will tell you or anyone in a similar predicament is that looking for someone is the worst thing you can do right now. It's similar to when you're looking for something in your house and finding it only when you aren't looking for it.

You're making things hard for yourself, so take it easy. Do something you enjoy. You'll get used to being single, and right when you do, you'll find someone. You won't look for it and it will be the last thing on your mind. You've proven you can get someone to "like" you even if they're already taken. You did that on your own.

Have a little faith in yourself and know that things are only going to get better for you from now on.
