#6365 I know no one wants to hear about someone else's grades, but this might be a feel good story. So, I'm a senior engineering student who came into this semester with a 2.95 and about a quarter page resume. As a result, I got nothing at IR.
All my friends on facebook were posting of all their great experiences from internships while I was sitting at home working at burger king 40 hours/week.
I cut the drinking, cut the stupidity, cut the drugs and wanted to prove to myself I could actually do something with my life.
Worked out five times a week, every week this semester, didn't touch alcohol once, and more importantly got 4 As and an A-. 3.94 semester GPA.
It was damn near impossible to change my ways, but I did it, and it was the most rewarding 16 weeks of hard work of my life.
I hope this helps more than just me.
Can't wait to get back to school next semester! Boiler up
