I met few Indians who whine about how they wish they were in India. When I try to identify with them and ask them what they miss about India: They list out things how they think India is better than USA.

India was a developing nation for past 68 years or so while we saw Japan, a nation that bore 2 nuclear bombs in its heart currently the world's second developed nation and compare the current standard of life in India with the Four Tigers of South East Asia. They started off worse than India and all these nations that are currently better than India are affected by frequent floods/earthquakes. So, In light of this information, if you really feel that India is better than the greatest nation in the world, the United States of America, I guess you better leave and never come back.

Why are you here? If you really didn't want to leave India, you could have spoken anytime from the time you started applying for a VISA to this country. Its because a deep part of your brain was logical enough to figure out that India doesn't have job opportunities or has certain shortcomings in career aspects when compared to United States. Even if you came here only for EDUCATION, that logical deep part of your brain agrees that USA is better than India on aspects of EDUCATION.

So, Indians who think India is better than the hegemonic power,USA are better off leaving this nation as they don't contribute to the US economy as they always act in favor of India. I really don't know how to deal with you people.

People have unfortunately and unnecessarily died, it is devastating and sad. We cannot bring them back. Let us please take this opportunity to mourn but to also look at ourselves and to figure out how we can be a better human. Race is just a label to divide us up. We are all humans, brothers and sisters on Mother Earth. We can change the future, it comes from each one of us. Let's not make the same mistakes that previous generations have made.

I'm an underrepresented student on campus and I would never support a mandatory course like this, I pay for my own college and I wouldn't go to a school that shoved other students demands in my face like that. Yes there needs to be a stronger minority voice on campus but there is no fault there except ours, how many of us honestly run for positions in PSG or the student representative on the board of directors? If you want to make waves, start with changing your self riotous attitude and taking ownership of our own mistakes first, not every single word coming out of the majority's mouth is some secret racist remark. Change starts from within and we certainly could start by being more open about our culture, the current community is not welcoming enough to demand these kinds of things. My confession: If someone in the minority community found out I thought this way, they would throw me out and call me white-washed. I can never tell them how I feel if I want to keep all my friends...
