How many Japanese jokes were being told at the time you think? How many movies portraying all Asians as cunning and ruthless? Ever heard of the Eugenics movement? Did you know Indiana past the first sterilization law for women? If a woman was judged "feeble minded" aka a virgin out of wedlock she could be sterilized without consent? It's ok though right? We're trying to keep the good White American race health right? There is a video of a girl in Elementary on the bus calling her Sikh classmate a "Muslim terrorist." Where do you think she picked that up from? Have you read To Kill A Mockingbird? That book is a giant illustration of how kids absorb the opinions and words of adults around them.
