#14651 So I was planning on going to Purdue for college later on, right now I'm finishing 2 associates degree's at a community college. Only problem is I have lost all motivation to go to school. For instance, I have an internship class, which we have to pay for (Idk anyone who's ever had to pay to get an internship) but on top of that my internship is with a local universities extension, which is cool except it's to program in excel using vba, and idk a damn thing about it, and my "on site training" is a dude saying decode this, and Google whatever else you need to know, really mother fucker? Idk what you're asking and I have to Google an answer to it? I also have a sever admin class which is teaching us what we were taught last year, only now nothing we were taught is liable... ie, how to get to task manager - click n hold cntl alt del n click task manager (I got a 70% for being too simple.) we have a student success center, but the ladies there don't even know how to print, or turn on a computer. My teachers from Africa, so he avoids anything he doesn't know by acting stupid. My engineering teacher here is a joke, unless you praise Steve jobs as a God, he argues with you, and when you have a question it's a long over exaggerated conversation about Apple, even when I asked about physics... I just recently got a decent job where I get paid a little better than usual ($16hr), but I'd like to get a better job later on. I'm just wondering if Purdue is like that or if they actually have legitimate help and study groups where you actually learn the topic, and not just how incompetent your teacher is.
