#30209 IYO, what would it take for a sex offender who molested kids as a teen to redeem themselves?

#30173, Pretty sure it's because of the British. I am an Indian American, born and raised in the US. When "kindly" is used in the USA, it is often interpreted as a more arrogant way to say "please", as if you're demanding someone to comply with your request.

#30208 Is it normal for a girl in a relationship to go out to dinner with a guy that she doesn't know that well? A girl that I've known and had a crush on for over a year asked me to get dinner with her. I don't know her that well just some surface details about her and talked on and off with her over the time that I've known her. She just out of the blue asked me to get dinner with her. Naturally, I thought it was because she liked me since she was low key flirting with me a little before she asked me so of course I said yes. During the dinner, I learned that she actually wasn't single but is in a long distance relationship. I didn't know what to make of it. I felt like she kinda led me on but just thought it was weird for a girl to have dinner with a guy she doesn't know that well when she's in a relationship. I know that its fine if a girl in a relationship goes to dinner with a guy friend but I don't know her that well and she was definitely flirting with me. What should I make of this?

#30207 In middle school, I was never one to be able to talk to any of the girls that I liked. I was too shy, never knew what to say, how to interact without sounding nervous as shit.
In high school, my freshman year, I tried getting into this "dating" thing... mind you, I still didn't know what you're supposed to say to someone you like, especially in a small school setting. Soooo I kinda just stared at her from afar... for weeeeeeeks *cringe* ... needless to say, when I finally got the nerve to ask her out... i was brutally murdered.
I was afraid to interact with really beautiful girls after that point... and proceeded to date people that I wasn't sexually attracted to... THIS DOES NOT WORK IN THE LONG TERM.
The last couple years, I've been working on learning how to develop my speaking into an art. This doesn't necessarily mean using clever words and sounding like an intellectual, but rather being playful and flirty through the sound of your voice. I've gotten my future planned out, found my passions and developed my understanding of how the world and it's people work. My confidence levels have skyrocketed and, after approaching an astoundingly beautiful girl, one that I would have before been too nervous to even say a single word to. Simply introduced myself, made her laugh a bit by saying ridiculous shit, and within 3 weeks we were dating. It's been 3 years now :)
Don't be nervous to approach girls. It's often the most beautiful ones that are alone because everyone is too nervous to introduce themselves. They're people too! They want to make friends. Just walk up, introduce yourself and go from there! Trust me, they're just as insecure about things as you are. They aren't paying attention to the little things that you're likely worried about.

#30206 I hate how I'm only smooth in front of girls I don't like that much but acts like a bumbling idiot in front of the one I actually like.
I have never fallen so hard for someone. I get so carried away with the way her eyes light up when she's talking about something exciting that I barely remember what she's excited about.
