#19402 I missed out on my last chance to go greek in my college experience. I was hoping to go to kappa delta's (new chapter coming to Purdue) recruitment this weekend, but I chickened out. It would be a chapter actually open to upperclassmen. I just think I'm very insecure and not very comfortable with myself or my looks. Now, I won't ever get to experience Greek life, and I feel like I'm missing out on something irreplaceable. A lot of the time, I feel like I don't matter on this campus because I'm not Greek. I know people are going to say Greek life isn't all it's cracked up to be or that it is way more than social status; namely leadership, scholarship, and friendship (and it is). I just wish I would stop feeling sad, change my perspective, and turn my life around
