#19907 I have attended my church for around 5-6 years. Right now, I have been disappointed by everyone, and have no desire to step back in anymore. The church tries to be a community but the vast majority of attendants are young and do not commit to anything, it is all superficial no substance in relationships. Worship has turned time based instead of being spirit led; the leader says that they have been selected by God himself, however, there's no fire or passion for God whenever they sing/play. Seems like serving in the church has turned into a popularity contest or being a friend of the x,y,z leader instead of being spirit driven.
I've tried to do something about it and waited patiently for things to change, but now, my heart has totally walked away from that place. I got tired of fake worship, lack of commitment in relationships, fake christianity. Wake up church, it is time to be real! For now, it seems is time for me to move on. If somebody knows about a church around the area, let me know, I don't think I am going back to this one. I have been hurt, to the point I do not believe in Church anymore.
I strongly believe in God thought, I just wanna find a church I can call home, and where i'll be willing to love everybody else in the good and in the bad.
