#20492 My solution to the Syrian refugee stuff.
A billionaire offered to buy them an island in the Mediterranean. So do that. Round all of the refugees up and transport them to this island. Provide housing, food, water, education, jobs, but mostly, provide them with a safe place to live so they don't have to go back to Syria but also don't f*** up the rest of Europe with their mass migrations and ISIS sLeeper cells.

While they are on this island set up by the UN, they are interviewed and monitored for at least a year: activities, phone calls, emails, work ethic, etc. That way they know who they are letting in.
When it has been deemed official that an individual/family is not a threat and only interested in a happy life then they can apply to live in another country. And when approved they would move there. Any extremists detected would be arrested or sent back.
Conditions on the island would be such that people would wish to move elsewhere, so they don't just try to remain there.

It would be like an Ellis Island for Europe. Like a long term processing center. Where people will be safe from their oppression while removing the potential threat to others.

Confession: I know this is a terrible idea that would almost certainly go defunct, but thoughts?
