#20498 Can we please all just get along? The world we live in has so many horrible acts and tragedies occur all the time! We shouldn't be spending all of our time being upset about what some narrow minded idiots say or think! This world will always be full of racists, bigots, terrorists, killers, rapists, pedophiles, and so on. There isn't a whole lot we can do to get rid of these types of people and it's a sad truth we have to live with. I understand people want to see change and want to try and create change but having tons of protests and starting wars and creating a divide is no way to do this. Like at Purdue right now it has become you are either with the minorities or you aren't. It creates a divide between us all as human beings. I wish we lived in a world where racism wasn't a problem but we don't. I wish there was a way to fix it but there are too many narrow minded individuals that think in a horrible way.

With all of the people dying around the world due to horrible acts I think we need to realize how fragile life is. We could die at any moment. We need to take advantage of every minute we have. Take time today to forgive someone you are holding a grudge over or to just tell someone you love them! I'm sure there will be quite a few people who find this post stupid or absurd and will want to argue about this because that's the world we live in. Everyone has their own opinions on things and that's okay. All I think is at the end of the day are you proud of the way you acted today or the way you treated people?

Lets protest about our atrocious football team and how we need to fire our coach. Jesus Christ The man is the worst football coach in school history. 3 years and a 6-27 record. 2 wins in the big ten in 3 years and yet we decide to renew his contract for next year? Who cares obviously not Purdue or they're to cheap to buy him out.

#20494 I am a very average looking girl. Average height, a bit overweight and I never feel very pretty. Throughout my life I have heard people criticizing me about my looks, relatives, class mates, friends, etc. My boyfriend also points out my flaws and when I ask him why he is with me if I am so flawed he says he is with me despite me being so average and that I should see that as love. When I ask him why he loves me, he can never give a satisfactory answer. What bothers me is that all the things I see as flaws, he sees them too. He is not a very romantic guy, never did anything romantic for me and I never felt "butterflies" in my stomach for him. I like his company but I am not sure if I am in love and I think he is not in love either. He says he is not a romantic kind of guy but I believe that if you love someone, you don't have to try. I always wondered how lucky pretty girls are, how they are so loved, they don't have to try so hard. I always wanted to be pretty and carefree and not worry about how I look all the time. It is true that no one really cares unless you are pretty or dead. It sucks that our lives depend so much on the things that we can not control. Beauty is just one of them. I know people will think I am silly but I am just hurt. I don't think I will ever find someone who will completely be satisfied with me. My boyfriend, he really does not love me.
